Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide seamless high quality underwriting support functions
  • Produce loss run request
  • Code premium, issuance of policies and endorsements
  • Complete virtual checklists
  • Communication / Follow-up with brokers / Reinsurers
  • Create and Issue manual policies if necessary
  • Update various reports
  • Policy renewal preparation activities
  • Ensure files are well documented and comply with corporate standards
  • Verify premiums computation for month end, Update different reports
  • Resolve accounting inquiries, month end verification in liaison with center of excellence.
  • Assist claims department with requests on file documentation.

Job Requirements:

  • College and/or University degree an asset
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills, detail oriented
  • Good problem-solving ability, Flexibility and initiative
  • High organizational and time management skills, effectively manage work volume and tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently to meet deadlines, as well as in a team-oriented approach to accomplish branch results
  • Strong knowledge of systems and PC applications (Windows, Outlook, MSWord, Excel and database administration)
